Congratulations to the 2020 recipients of the CJK Foundation "You Are Enough" Scholarship!

Aubri Aumick

Our first candidate Aubri, will be attending EVCC in the fall where she will be pursing a criminal justice degree in hopes of one day becoming a Game Warden. Her achievements have excelled both in and out of the classroom. She has received the Silver Key Award for her excellence in visual arts and Best Overall and the Principle Award for her ceramics projects.

She is also actively involved with her church, Forks Assembly of God and participated in the Miracle on State Street and YGLTP in her 4 years at MPHS. She hopes that one day we can break the stigma around Mental Health and Suicide by normalizing the discussion and talking about it in  health classes. She believes it will be a great way for those that are having a hard time to cope and know that there is a way to overcome their battles.

Aubri has experienced many hardships in her life, more than most at a young age, but her strength and gift of giving has helped her not only learn from it but also find ways to inspire those around her.

Keili Roberts

Our second candidate Keili Roberts, will be attending Western Oregon University in the fall where she will be pursing a degree in sign language interpretation and special education. She hopes this degree will help her become an interpreter in the medical and educational fields and then eventually start her own agency for speech therapy alternatives.

She is a 4 year softball varsity letterman, attended DECA state for 3 years as well as being the DECA student of the year for 3 years. She’s been a Chrons Colitis Foundation advocate for 5 years.

Her biggest advice for those who are struggling is that no matter how alone you may think you are, you aren’t. There are so many people who care about you! For those who are scared to reach out and ask for help, it’s okay to ask and it does not make you a weak person.
